Sahalie Ski Club

Alpental Access Road SE, Snoqualmie Pass, WA

One of the oldest continually-operating ski clubs in the west, of close vintage to Cascade Ski Club on Mt. Hood. We formed in 1931 and are still going strong. Sahalie is different from 99% of NWSCC/FWSA clubs in that we:

a) we own our own property at Snoqualmie Pass, WA (83 acres)
b) we have our own lodge (sleeps over 100)
c) we still run our own rope tows.

While Sahalie is a year-round group of tight-knit friends, with some member famlies now in their fifth generation, we operate primarily on 15 winter weekends from New Years until early April. Nearby Summit-at-Snoqualmie commercial areas provide easy access to chair-lift serviced terrain for all abilities, yet our kids grow up learning to ski and snowboard on our slope and rope tows right outside the door. Night skiing after the teens finish doing dishes from our group meal on Saturday evenings is a long-running tradition, as is our end-of-season Carnival each April
