Oregon Adaptive Sports, established in 1996, is a nonprofit year-round organization that provides high quality outdoor recreation experiences to individuals with disabilities. We offer half-day, full-day ski lessons to athletes with disabilities of all ages, from first timers to seasoned skiers. The OAS staff consists of certified adaptive instructors in the disciplines of monoski, bi-ski, 3-track, 4-track, alpine and snowboard, as well as nordic skiing and snowshoeing. Our winter season runs from mid-December to late April at Mt. Bachelor and Hoodoo Ski Area, depending on snowfall and conditions. During the summer OAS offers golf, cycling, adaptive mountain biking and gravel riding, and kayaking in and around Central Oregon. To prevent cost from being a barrier to participation, we have a robust scholarship program thanks to the support of hundreds of volunteers, businesses, donors and sponsors.
