Since 1938—when skiing was still in its early days—the Bogus Basin Ski Club has been part of Idaho’s mountain tradition. In fact, the club owned and operated the very first rope tow at Bogus Basin. Annual membership at that time was just $25, which included use of the tow. Today, membership is only $26.50—a modest increase of just $1.50 in more than 80 years.

Our mission remains true to our roots: to help people discover and enjoy the sport of skiing while building lasting connections. The Bogus Basin Ski Club is an adult social club offering a variety of activities year-round:

Ski Trips — Local, national, and international adventures
Alpine Spirit — Recreational race team, mountain barbecues, and hosting the annual Warren Miller Film Festival
Giving Back — Annual Bogus Basin Road clean-up and charitable contributions supporting nonprofit ski organizations
Summer Fun — Boats, Floats & Barbecue, group bicycle tours, and our annual campout
Celebrations — Champagne brunches, holiday gatherings, and other social events throughout the year

Whether on the slopes, on the water, or around the barbecue, the Bogus Basin Ski Club is about more than skiing—it’s about community, tradition, and adventure. Follow our journey and join the fun on Facebook at facebook.com/bogusbasin.skiclub.
