Why Join A Ski Club?
In addition to all of the year-round sports and social events and great ski trips described in our Member Clubs and Calendar sections of this website, every member of every NWSCC club has access to benefits through the Far West Ski Association (FWSA) and National Ski Council Federation (NSCF) which can save you far more than the price of your club membership!
SOCIAL ACTIVITIES
Is your social life lacking? Are you tired of doing the same things all the time? Spending too much time on the couch? Join a club and expand your horizons - you'll have your pick of any number of truly FUN activities! How about meeting new people to ski/ride with, or to go hiking, biking, kayaking, dancing, or other activities? There are also parties and social events offered by each club. It has been well documented that active, social people live a LONG and happy life!

One of the best things about belonging to a ski club is taking advantage of group trips offered to places you might not visit on your own – and the chance to make many new friends! There is nothing like an active trip spent with like minded people to expand your social horizons and well being. Clubs travel by buses, trains, airplanes, and sometimes just with friends from the club. Adventure awaits: you just need to take advantage of the opportunities offered!

As a member of NWSCC and FWSA, you receive discounts from some major retailers. Remember, if you live somewhere in the 11 Western states of OR, WA, CA, NV, AZ, NM, CO, ID, MT, UT and WY, and you are a member of a ski club which is a member of one of the 10 regional councils, then you are one of approximately 50,000 members who receive these discounts.
