CLUB FACTS
The Seattle Ski Club is one of the oldest ski clubs in the
Pacific Northwest, founded in 1930 by a group of people who
loved skiing and especially ski jumping.
EVENTS
The club maintains a lodge at Snoqualmie. Other than the
enjoyment of skiing in their back yard, the main club activity
is the annual Uphill-Downhill event on President’s Day weekend.
This is a crazy ski course set up by the members to see how much
fun can be had while on skis and snowboards. Several members
like to travel and also plan several ski trips throughout the
season as well.
MEMBERSHIP
The club has a current membership of about 40 adults and children
who ski and/or snowboard: a mix of married, single, and
families.
