Oregon Cancer Ski Out - Serious Fun to Benefit Cancer Charities

  • Mt. Hood Meadows 14040 Oregon 35 Mount Hood, OR, 97041 United States (map)

NWSCC clubs and PACRAT racers - get your team together for the OREGON CANCER SKI OUT!

Oregon Cancer Ski Out (now under the umbrella Cancer Resource Fund) has had a long lasting and ever increasing impact upon the lives of families in Oregon and Southwest Washington with cancer. OHSU, Candlelighters, hospice organizations, and cancer support organizations such as Breast Friends and Camp Erin, have all been grateful beneficiaries.

Please join us at Mt. Hood Meadows on March 10-11 to join in the fun! This is not a race to see who is the fastest - the goal is consistency, and the team whose times are the closest between two days of racing is the winner. Slow or fast, everyone has the same chance!  Wear costumes - have fun - and be coached by the BEST (usually including one or both of the Mahre brothers)! There are prizes for fundraising, for the best costumes, and great team prizes for the teams with the closest times between the two days.

The team fees include lift tickets (if you're not a passholder), breakfasts and lunches on the mountain for two days, a dinner/auction at the Best Western Hood River Inn Sunday night, lots of camaraderie, and SERIOUS FUN!  Log in to cancerskiout.org and register your team.
